Triturating is the juicing process followed by this juicer. Two gears which are made of stainless steel are used in the new Green Star GS3000 White Juicer to break down the products into a cellular level and then separate the juice and fibre with the help of the pressure provided in the juicing chamber. Other offerings are magnets and bio-ceramic materials to both the gears. These are believed to help in extracting higher levels of minerals from the product and it also increases the freshness of the juice retaining its enzymes and vitamins.
Since both the gears operate at a very low speed, the rate at which the nutrients are oxidated is considerably lowered. Since heat is not transferred the enzyme content of the juice is not lost.
